  • Aerosoling is the small particles of excess ink that is deposited into the air during the head firing phase under speed. These minute particles of ink then settle onto the mechanics of the printer and over time can dirty sensors, disguise encoder strips and effect the running of the printer. HP have enhanced the head firing to keep this excess to an absolute minimum by reducing by as much as 80% in the Z6200 by giving you optimum up time and enhanced reliability.

Improved media loading system with auto media recognition and new loading table mechanism

  • The all new loading table in the Designjet Z6200 allows media to be easily loaded into the print position without having to manhandle heavy rolls increasing who can use the printer without potential risk of injury.

Geared driven media feed system for improved length accuracy

  • The new media feed in the Z6200 is now motor driven rather than relying and sprung loading tensioning system which enhances the accurate feed of heavier rolls given more accurate and longer unattended print.

Reduced overheating of heads when firing high density ink levels

  • If you run backlit film on a Z6100 you would certainly have found a limit to the length of media you can run without the necessity for the printer to go through a cycle down/cycle up to prevent overheating. HP have improved how the head fires eliminating the overheating thus allowing long unattended print on all media types with the HP Designjet Z6200.

Improved image quality with new firmware optimising

  • HP continues to strive to achieve the optimal print quality and have managed to improve this with the new optimised firmware improving how the HP Z6200 printer operates.

CWE Solutions announce Scottish Signage Open Days

CWE Solutions today announced that it will showcase a range of large-format printers for the first time in Scotland at an open house on 20th and 21st June at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall (register online at www.cwesolutions.co.uk/scottishopen).

Highly regarded as the UK’s largest and leading reseller of HP Designjet latex printers, CWE Solutions has strengthened its premium market position by scooping three Partner of the Year awards during the recent Channel Awards ceremony event in London.

The company enjoyed an evening of great success at the HP Designjet UK and Ireland 2011 Channel Awards, scooping the awards for Sign & Display Partner of the Year, Graphics Partner of the Year, and System Sales Partner of the Year.

CWES Sales Manager Graham De Kock attended the event and was awarded the three prizes, which were all based on sales of HP printers and consumables.

Mr De Kock said: “It was an amazing event, and it was such an honour to accept not one but three awards on behalf of CWE Solutions. We work hard to be the best in our sector, advising clients on the right printing solution for them, and providing an ongoing support service too. To be recognised for our efforts like this is just fantastic.”

The first award presented to CWES was the Sign & Display Partner of the Year, in recognition for the sales of HP Designjet L25500, HP Scitex LX Series and HP Scitex FB Series printers.

This was soon followed by the Graphics Partner of the Year award, given to CWES because of the strong HP Designjet Z Series printer sales. The triple awards ensure a great start to the New Year for CWE Solutions. HP presents latest latex printers at Fespa Digital on extended stand

HP will use Fespa Digital for the first showing at a major international exhibition of its Designjet L28500 and HP Designjet L26500 latex printers.

In a display that extends beyond the exhibition hall (Hall 3, Stand G5), HP will present a range of its printers for flexible and rigid applications both on its stand and at its GSB Experience Centre in nearby San Cugat. Visitors to the stand will find examples of new applications that can enable print service providers (PSPs) to develop new revenue streams and grow their businesses.?

UK launch of the HP designjet Z6200 continues at the SWPP

The Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers
