HP have enhanced the head firing to keep this excess to an absolute minimum by reducing by as much as 80% in the Z6200 by giving you optimum up time and enhanced reliability.

Improved media loading system with auto media recognition and new loading table mechanism

  • The all new loading table in the Designjet Z6200 allows media to be easily loaded into the print position without having to manhandle heavy rolls increasing who can use the printer without potential risk of injury.

Geared driven media feed system for improved length accuracy

  • The new media feed in the Z6200 is now motor driven rather than relying and sprung loading tensioning system which enhances the accurate feed of heavier rolls given more accurate and longer unattended print.

Reduced overheating of heads when firing high density ink levels

  • If you run backlit film on a Z6100 you would certainly have found a limit to the length of media you can run without the necessity for the printer to go through a cycle down/cycle up to prevent overheating. Your Print Solution in High Wycombe has recently given their system a complete overhaul in a bid to provide a more efficient large format printing service. After extensive consultation from CWE Solutions, the team at Your Print Solution found the answer to their requirements in the HP Designjet L26500 along with the GMG Production Suite and GBC Arctic Titan 1064 Laminator.

In addition to the HP Designjet L26500, Your Print Solution purchased the GMG Production Suite, a complete software solution for wide format printing. CWE Solutions are the sole UK reseller of the GMG Production Suite and they recommended the software primarily for the GMG Rip Software which allows colour matching between projects.

Your Print Solution will use the HP L26500 to produce large format projects such as the backlit graphics for Wimpy UK. However, smaller materials such as the menus are produced using a HP Digital Indigo Press. The GMG Rip Software will maintain consistency between the prints, thanks to its practical tools and colour rendering abilities.

Your Print Solution also purchased the GBC Arctic Titan 1064 Laminator which handles pressure-sensitive film up to 61″ wide. The GBC Arctic Titan 1064 Laminator also offers a cold lamination setting which is ideal for materials such as PVC, which are incompatible with the traditional hot lamination process.

CWE Solutions announce Scottish Signage Open Days

CWE Solutions today announced that it will showcase a range of large-format printers for the first time in Scotland at an open house on 20th and 21st June at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall (register online at www.cwesolutions.co.uk/scottishopen).
